I like to make clocks. It’s an interesting challenge that encompasses woodworking (for the case) PCB design (to drive the Nixies/VFD) and programming (telling the time and interfacing with the PCB) This is one that I made using IV-26 Nixie Tubes as a bar graph display. The connections are very fiddly in this one so I redesigned it to use IDC connectors.

Here’s the new redesign – All IDC connectors to allow for a modular design. Makes the connections more reliable as well. Clock prototype is next – once that’s finished, I will make the PCB for the clock.
